Volunteer Social Media Director & Content Creator

Torch & Tinder Press is an independent publisher dedicated to freedom, truth, and cultural resistance.

We are seeking a Volunteer Social Media Director & Content Creator to help launch and shape our online presence. This role will lead our social media strategy, create posts, and connect Torch & Tinder with wider audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a social media strategy across Bluesky, Instagram, and other platforms.
Create posts, visuals, and captions consistent with Torch & Tinder’s ethos.
Track engagement and adjust approaches based on response.
Collaborate with editors, writers, and artists to highlight upcoming work.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

Is creative, adaptive, and comfortable experimenting with different storytelling formats.
Understands audience engagement and community-building.
Shares our commitment to dignity, accuracy, and shared freedom.

Bonus if you have:

Experience running social media for nonprofits, publications, or campaigns.
Familiarity with design tools and cross-platform publishing.
